About Me

My Photo
We met in April of 2008 at BYU-Idaho. 4 months later we were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on August 22, 2008. We moved to Colorado in June of 2010, bought our first house there in 2013. And now we have moved to Las Vegas, NV to start our next adventure. We have two active boys with a little girl on the way!

On July 25th Zac and I went down to the Greenbelt and walked through the art exhibits they were having. We didn't stay long but it was nice to get out and walk together.

Here I am at almost 25 weeks pregnant. I am getting ever bigger and sometimes I don't enjoy the uncomfortableness I feel ALL day long. But starting Monday I will officially be in the third trimester, yay! Zac and I are very excited for this little boy!

We decided to go to the nature park a few days later. It is a few blocks from our house so we walked down and had some lunch and then fed the ducks. I have to say these ducks love people because they know you have food, so they swarm you the second you get close. It is a little scary.

There were lots of baby ducks though, and they were very cute.
And just FYI. I ended the semester with all A's and I believe Zac had only one B and the rest were A's. So yay for us, another semester down and only one more to go. We are so ready to be done! My husband is a work-a-holic, I am learning. He just got a job at Macy's in IF, and he also has a job working in marketing for H&R Block. Both jobs he is planning to keep once school starts up again, but we will see. He is a hard worker and doesn't have a lot of free time during school because he spends so much time on homework. But, I shouldn't complain, I appreciate that he has such a strong work ethic. And I think he his getting overwhelmed with the idea of having a baby and all the extra expenses that come with that. All in all we are happy, and looking forward to our anniversary in a few weeks. We hope everyone is enjoying their summer.

  1. I wonder if working hard for dads-to-be is the same rush of emotions like nesting is for moms? Jameson got into "over-work-aholic mode" before we had Brooklyn, and I think it may have to do with the pressure of being a good provider? Either way, we are lucky to have such great husbands!

  2. Aaron is the same way. I miss him when he is in school because I never see him but I am so grateful he works so hard. If you ever need someone to hangout with when your husband is working or studying, give me a call. I am most likely lonely too!

  3. The only good thing that comes from being poor and having a baby is you get lots of stuff from grandparents. Especially since this will be Zac's parents' first grandchild you will be showered with clothes. The only thing you have to buy is diapers and you can find coupons for those. Garage sales have lots of stuff that is slightly used since many people only have 1 or 2 kids. As exciting as it is being in your 3rd trimester, it is the longest trimester. I think this has to do with the fact that you can't sleep at night without the baby kicking you or having heartburn or just so big you can't get comfortable.

  4. Good job on the good grades! If you ever need anything let us know we are almost ready to kick Aaryn out of his crib so if you haven't found one yet you can always borrow ours. I hope you were able to find clothes you liked out of the ones I sent with you. I also need to give you a winter coat for you, a wipe warmer, and a baby monitor. Let me know if you will see mom and dad soon. I am going to AZ with the Briggs for Alexs farwell.

  6. I remember Kurt going through the same thing when I was pregnant with Destry. I think it is normal for the dad-to-be to worry about providing for his family! It's good, since we women have to do all of the really hard work!! haha. and I loved your post about the reunion. It was good to see some pictures! I soo wish we could've gone! Oh well, hopefully next time. good luck with the 3rd trimester! It definitely isn't fun...lol...but at least you know it will be over soon!
