And now we have moved to Las Vegas, NV to start our next adventure. We have two active boys with a little girl on the way!

The Flood

Well, on Tuesday January 27th we had a little flood in our house. It really was little, but it was enoughto make me a little histerical. Because we live in the basement, one of the pipes burst in the ceiling and flooded our kitchen and bathroom and into the living room. Luckily, nothing was really damaged, but our house has been a little chaotic over the past week. It was about two inches of water and we have a lot of towels, but once the twenty or so towels were soaked with water there is only so much you can do. We ended up getting a mop and tried to soak up some of the water and it was a few hours before I could at least relax knowing the water wasn't going to spread through the rest of the house. Luckily we have a great ward who was bringing in meals for us, as I was trying to get ready for my NCLEX(which can read about below) and do everything else. We are so grateful to all who helped us out with everything. I probably would not be sane right now if it were not for all of you.
Here are some pictures from our adventure. Sorry I look awful, it all started before I was able to get ready for the day, so I am not really presentable, but my husband hates to look at pictures without anyone in them, so he made me.

  1. Oh no! I'm so sorry. That sounds like it was a pretty stressful and chaotic week! By the way, even though you didn't get ready, you still look great :)
