Well, we were able to make the trek down to Florence, AZ to attend the blessing of our first niece. And it seems we survived, barely. We probably did close to 40 hours of driving if you include all of the extra driving around thoughout the weekend. And Gavin had enough. After the first day he just cried in the car and would not sleep but maybe an hour or so. So we were happy for the little time that we were out of the car and we were so happy to see family. Thursday we traveled to Ely and were able to watch my brother run in a track meet. Friday we traveled to Florence with some of my family. On Saturday we traveled down to Tucson and went to the Zoo, and it just happened to be a free day. And then after lunch we went to a train museum that was closed, so a worker was there and he opened it up just for us to look around for a little while. He even turned on some of the trains which made the little boys so excited. Sunday, Kamry was blessed and did so well. It was so fun to see her and see how tiny she is. Monday we jumped in the car and headed back to Ely and Tuesday we drove home. I am SOOO ready for a day to just sit at home and relax. My brain hasn't stopped running for almost two weeks. We LOVED seeing everyone and we miss you already.
Sorry all the Zoo pictures are just Gavin, but we like it that way. :)
They had all these booths giving away stuff at the Zoo that day so we had to take some pictures of these antlers on Gavin's head.
Our Monkey and a real monkey. He is such a happy baby when his Dad plays with him.
Outside the train museum.
His first time on the swings, I think he enjoyed them.
