Valentine's Dance

So we had a ward activity last night for Valentine's. And the Activities Committee did a great job planning it. There were games and food and of course dancing. Zac is not one to be particularly skilled in the art of dance, and lacks a little rhythm sometimes. But....he loves to have fun, so he swung me around the dance floor, picked me up, dipped me a few times and it was great(this is just one of the many reasons why I love my husband). One of the activities was to make a poem for your spouse using one romance word and one normal word. Zac did much better than I did.
Chelsea's
Normal: showerhead
Romance: roses
I love it when there's roses on the bed,
I love it when you sing in to the showerhead.
(Zac told me he would drowned if he sang into the showerhead after i read it to him).

Zac's
Normal: piggybank
Romance: chocolate
I love you cause you taste good like chocolate.
If I were a hog and you were my piggy, we would roll
around in the piggy bank mmmmmmmmm........

(You have to admit, he is pretty creative. Even I don't understand how is mind works.)

A few couples read their poems out loud, and it got a little scary when there were words like , ual, and more. But we all had a good laugh. And I even won the movie game!

We are looking forward to spending our first Valentine's Day together, and hope that everyone can find a way to show other's that they love them, not only on Valentine's Day, but throughout the year.
